As of September 2021, which is the end of what we know, we can tell you some general information about Land Rover functions and how to use them. Please note, though, that specific information about the Land Rover models for 2022 and 2023 may not be available because they may not have been released yet.
Most Land Rovers have a variety of high-tech features and controls that improve comfort, ease, safety, and off-road performance. Some of the most popular JLR features and controls in Land Rovers are as below:
- Terrain Response: Land Rovers come with a technology called Terrain Response, which lets the driver adjust the vehicle’s performance and stability to suit the driving conditions. This tool lets you change things like the throttle response, suspension, and traction control to make the car better off-road.
- All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) is a cruise control system for off-road driving that works at low speeds. It keeps going at the same speed even on rough ground, so the driver can focus on steering and avoiding obstacles.
- Terrain Response 2: This improved version of Terrain Response automatically senses the terrain and changes the vehicle settings to match. It has different ways to drive, like Comfort, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud and Ruts, Sand, and Rock Crawl, to make it work best in different situations.
- InControl Touch Pro: Land Rover’s infotainment system, InControl Touch Pro, has a user-friendly interface with features like navigation, video playback, smartphone integration, and connectivity options. It might have a touch screen, mouth control, and a high-tech sound system.
- Driver Assistance Systems: Land Rover cars often have advanced driver assistance systems like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot tracking, and automatic emergency braking. These tools make driving safer and help drivers stay awake longer.
- Off-Road Abilities: Land Rovers are known for how well they do off-road. They often have features like low-range gearing, changeable suspension height, differential lock, and advanced traction control systems to help them handle rough terrain.
